Our Story

Our family of 7 lives in beautiful Dell Rapids, SD. We love the outdoors: swimming, fishing, biking, canoeing, hiking, exploring, camping, foraging for mushrooms and asparagus, hunting, archery, metal detecting, sitting around a campfire, etc.

And so, when we wanted to give our kids an opportunity to save up money, build a business, learn work ethic, and develop business skills, we started Wright Adventure Shop, selling the very things that we use and love. It’s still just a small side business for us, but we would love to see it grow into something bigger that our kids can run in the future.

Our kids already do a lot of the work and almost all the packaging .

And the telling of our story wouldn’t be complete without mentioning that we love Jesus Christ. We try our best to put Him at the center of our family and our business.
